A quick decision, without the spiral
Some decisions deserve research. Others just need an ending. A quick decision wheel works best when every option is acceptable and the cost of choosing imperfectly is small.
1. Decide what belongs on the wheel
Start with the real constraint: time, location, or energy. If you only have ten minutes, remove the hour-long project. If an option is a clear priority, do it rather than making it compete with distractions.
2. Write actions, not ambitions
Use “wash the breakfast dishes,” not “fix the kitchen.” Short, specific labels help you start after the spin. Duplicate lines are removed so repeating a choice does not give it extra weight.
3. Choose how to finish
A normal spin keeps every choice in the pool. Removal mode takes out the winner after it lands, which makes it useful for working through a list. Undo restores the most recent removed choice; updating the list begins a fresh round.
What the wheel does
Every active choice has equal probability on each spin. The result is chosen before the animation; the pointer then lands on that segment. This is a casual browser tool, not certified randomness.
When to put it away
Do not use a random result for medical, legal, safety, or major financial decisions. For everyday choices, a disappointed reaction can clarify what you wanted. You are allowed to choose differently.
